It was created as a resource covering 8 core management development skills: Management and Leadership, Communication, Goal Setting, Motivation, Time Management, Delegation, Problem Solving and Decision Making in a condensed version for the highest possible impact.
This leaders' guide has been actively used since 1982 as part of A.E. Schwartz & Associates Management and Leadership Development program entitled, "The School for Managers". Since then it has been updated every 2-3 years; redeveloped and perfected as the primary source book that participants receive. Like our other leaders' guides, it contains pre and post tests per segment, with some of our best information, exercises, assessments, and role plays. This management resource is a perfect primer for all managers (especially those new and prospective managers).
